The Sports Club brings together over 300 student-athletes competing in a wide range of disciplines, including volleyball, freestyle wrestling, boxing, archery, chess, checkers, futsal, sambo, MMA, pankration, and table tennis.
The Buryat State Agricultural Academy (BSAA) has been recognized for its excellence in sports promotion, receiving a 1st Degree Diploma in the nomination "Organization of Health and Fitness Work among Academic and Administrative Staff" and a 2nd Degree Diploma for "Organization of Health, Fitness, and Mass Sports Work among Students."
At the republican physical culture and sports awards "Golden Olympus," BSAA was honored as a laureate in three nominations: "Best Organization of Sports and Fitness Work among Higher Education Institutions," with archer Erdem Tsydypov winning "Best Athlete in Olympic Sports," and the academy also receiving the "Best Sports Volunteer" award.
The Academy hosts republican tournaments in boxing, wrestling, sambo, and volleyball. BSAA students consistently achieve top placements in international, all-Russian, and regional competitions in wrestling, boxing, sambo, archery, and other sports.
