The Student Scientific Society of the V.R. Filippov Buryat State Agricultural Academy is a voluntary, self-governing, and non-profit public association established on students' own initiative for those engaged in research, innovation, and science outreach activities.
The Society operates using a two-tier structure:
Primary Level: Society units at the faculty and institute level.
Academy-wide Level: The Academy Society, which comprises representatives from all faculty-level units.
The Society's activities are guided by the principles of self-governance, transparency, mutual respect, and a culture of scientific discourse, all aimed at promoting students' professional and social development.

Mission:
- To create conditions for developing scientific potential and building research competencies among students.
- To engage students in research, innovation, and science outreach activities.
- To facilitate the organization of student research, innovation, and science outreach initiatives.
- To enhance the quality of education through core academic programs.
Objectives:
- Implementing educational, informational, and analytical measures to engage students in the Academy's scientific agenda.
- Coordinating the activities of student design bureaus and other student research groups.
- Creating conditions for students to conduct independent research.
- Developing cooperation with student scientific societies from other universities.
- Assisting students in preparing and publishing their research and innovation outputs.
- Publishing scientific, methodological, and informational materials.
- Participating in the selection and recognition of students who excel in research activities.
- Representing student interests in science, education, and innovation before the Academy's administration.
- Organizing and conducting events within the Society's scope of competence.
